On building teams

One of my day to day responsibilities is to help teams improve their results, from team interaction to proper understanding of software development frameworks.

It’s such a rewarding experience to see how the same team can reach much better results once team members have the correct perspective about their role in the team and the practices to be used.

In order to do this, I apply a mix of skills covering: agile transformation, product management, business analysis, change management and continuous improvement.

My approach includes the following 5 steps:

  1. Assessment
  2. Improvements log creation
  3. Improvements log presentation to customer MT
  4. Improvements log presentation to the team
  5. Mentoring and implementation

The Take-Away

A wise man once said: “If we keep doing what we’re doing, we’re going to keep getting what we’re getting.”
